Haruhi is a commoner that managed to enter the prestigious Ouran High School through a scholarship. She hopes to follow her mother's footsteps and become a lawyer. However, by chance, Haruhi found her way into the Music Room 3 and discovers the school's host club. Startled by her discovery, she accidentally knocks over a priceless vase that was to be auctioned off. Due to her androgynous appearance, Haruhi is mistaken for a male and must join the host club in order to pay off her debt of $80,000.
In the end, her true gender was finally discovered. But now, she must continuously disguise herself as a boy and participate in the host club's eccentric ideas and themes since there is still a debt that needs to be paid off....

Attire: Is often wearing the male uniform for her high school. Though there are times when she does dress more feminine. It's often because it's for a disguise or Haruhi's father had decided to sneak in a dress or two into her luggage.

Relationships;
Love Interest; Haruhi has developed feelings for Tamaki. But she was too stubborn to admit it at first. Not to mention, when the person you love insists that you call him "Daddy" doesn't help the situation all that much...Still, even when Tamaki is acting like an idiot, Haruhi somehow managed to fall for his charm.

Family; Haruhi's mother died when she was still very young. She lives with her father, who is currently working at a cross-dressing bar.

Friends; Haruhi would consider everybody in the host club to be her friend. Though they are often times rather eccentric, she's adjusted and has grown use to it. Aside from the Host Club members and customers, her other friends include Renge Houshakuji, Ritsu Kasanoda, Kanako Kasugazaki, and Mei Yasumura.

Enemies; Ayanokoji was once Tamaki's regular customer. During Haruhi's host training, Ayanokoji would secretly harass Haruhi by hiding blades in her textbook, sticking pins in the back of her uniform, or having her belonging dumped into a small pond. She is banned from the Host Club when her true colors were revealed.

Others; The Zuko Club are the rivals of the Host Club. Haruhi doesn't necesarrily mind them, however, their presence often times can be a little annoying. Especially when they are trying to get her to quit the host club and join theirs.

Personal;
Preference; Straight. Though she did once state that she was a little bent that way.
Status; Without a doubt, she is in love with Tamaki but will not admit it.

Likes; Strawberries, Sushi [especially Ootoro], Ramen, and the friends that she has made since becoming a part of the host club.
Dislikes; Being pestered to call Tamaki "Daddy", being pestered to wear more feminine clothes, the Hitachin Twin's pranks, her debt, rich people, When Tamaki is acting like an idiot, etc...
Fears; Haruhi has a deep fear of thunder. During thunderstorms, she would often times hide under a desk, or even in a closet.

Hobbies; Before joining the host club, she mostly spent her time studying. As a poor scholarship student, there is no time to slack off!
Habits; Tends to use male pronouns such as "Ore" when referring to herself. Much to Tamaki's displeasure.

Special Notes:
- Haruhi is as blind as a bat without her thick glasses or contacts.
- Really, really loves fatty tuna [Ootoro] and was once bribed with it.
- Is generally, really smart. Her favorite subjects are English and History.
- Would do almost anything to shorten her debt; including kissing a girl on her cheek. [It turned into a full blown kiss thanks to a certain blonde...]
