A Little Background:
One of the landvÃ¦ttir, a Norwegian guardian spirit of the land, Ashley was born into a rather enormous family. Unfortunately, they were enormous in number as well as physical mass. Unfortunate because Ashley was a dragon of diminutive stature, a pale blue ice dragon about the size of a house cat.
In the world of the landvÃ¦ttir it was survival of the fittest and being the smallest of his family meant being doomed to torment, as he spent most of his young life avoiding being eaten by his immediate family. He later learned the art of transformation and could take on the form of a human. Once he was able to do this, he fled Norway to attend boarding school in Greece. It was here he met Ramses, a fellow student and wraith from America. The two developed a relationship that teetered back and forth between attempting to kill each other and having sex.
During schooling, both Ashley and Ramses were selected by the powers that be to become two of the legendary horsemen of the apocalypse, Famine and Death. It wasn't really the sort of thing you can say 'no' to and so they found themselves on the way to small town, USA, where the apocalypse was destined to begin.
