Siku, or at least that's her real name, is a gentle and quiet creature. She was but a fledgling when I found her, cold to the touch. But she did not shiver, or try to get away. She simply stared at me with her tiny eyes. Her body was covered in a blanket of frost, but around her head was a halo of snow. She perched elegantly on my finger. Now Siku has learned how to fly with true elegance and beauty. Every winter she is perched, resting outside staring into the snowed over landscape ahead of her. I know she wants to be more than just some Lain in this world. She wants to be the snow that floats onto nature.
