The sounds of shuffling paper fill Faeylin's ears, but that is not the only thing. The incessant barking, meowing, chirping, and squeaking are what give Fae comfort.Faeylin is the owner of the Minion Humane Society. She loves her job and finds comfort in the thought that she can provide for all the little minions out there with no home and no one to love them.

Her day starts out with feeding. Faeylin loves this time of day. She goes through each section of the building giving the appropriate food to each little minion. Most of them wait patiently, but there are a few that want their food first. She always switches up the order so everyone has their chance at getting fed first. Faeylin has tailored each feeding according to the specific needs of each little minion. She also takes the time to give them lots of hugs and kisses.

Next is cleaning time. Faeylin doesn't like this part to much, but she knows it has to be done. Each minion deserves their space spotless. She wipes, scrubs and disinfects each cage taking care to make everything perfect. She empties litter boxes, wipes down the floor, washes away any food or other matter that has made it's way on to the floor. She also takes this time to switch out the water provided in every cage. Blankets are replaced and toys are added, taken away, or switched out.

After cleaning the cages, Faeylin attends to the buildings lobby. She has to make sure that it is clean so that anyone who comes in feels welcome, and knows that everything is loved and cared for. She vacuums, dusts, mops, and wipes down the counters, floors, shelves, and windows. She also replaces and missing merchandise from the shelves and adds fresh flowers to the vase that sits on the front desk counter.

Now it is finally time to open the doors. Quite often there are a few pets waiting outside to come in and look around. This makes Faeylin feel great as she knows that these pets are looking for a little minion to love. She welcomes the waiting pets into the building and takes her place behind the counter.

As each pet asks to take a little minion out of it's cage for some play time, she hopes that this is the day that that particular minion is taken into a loving home and won't ever have to see the bars of a cage again. Usually this doesn't happen, but when it does it is all that more special. Faeylin knows every minion by name and what their personality is like. She is sad to see them go, but she knows that they are going to a forever home and they are going to be with someone who is going to love them like she does.

Every minion understands that they aren't going to be adopted right away, but they know that their day is coming. None of the minions is sad to be where they are because this place isn't like the rest. They know that Faeylin loves them and would never let anything happen to them.

In the middle of the day, Faeylin takes out a group of minions and let's them run around in a very large room with each other. They take this time to wrestle with their friends, snuggle with Faeylin and play with the tons of toys that are placed around the room. Faeylin loves this time of day the best. She has time with each and every one of the minions to make them feel safe, loved and secure. She also likes watching the minions play as a large group. She knows how important it is to have friends!

After the building closes, and every cage is cleaned, and all the minions are fed again it is time for Faeylin to go home to her own little minion Amor. Amor has been with her for as long as she can remember, and she knows that as long as Faeylin lives Amor with be with her. As she gets ready for bed, Faeylin thinks about her day tomorrow, she knows each day is different, but all that matters is that she gets to see her little minion friends again!
