The best thing about Jack Fiddle is that he can always be seen with a smile on his face. Unfortunately, this smile is often at another's expense, as he is an incorrigible prankster. Generally good-humored, he is quick to brighten anyone else's gloomy day--real or imagined. He was adopted as a Ghostly, but is keen to try the Pet Zappers to see what sort of form chance--or Dame Fortuna, as he would say--sends his way.
Shy, quiet Nauticus is most often the butt of his jokes. He usually relents and makes it up to the Harvester a day or two later, and Nauticus faithfully forgives him--only to be pranked once again before too much time has passed. Tetran is another favorite recipient of Jack's mischievous attentions. The Endeavor is often thoroughly confused by the nature of Jack's humor, which just amuses Jack even more.
The name Jack Fiddle is a reference to Gabriel King's The Wild Road.
