Everything changed five years ago. Everything. Because it was five years ago that his best friend pushed him into a small pool of water, and his life became forever altered. It all started on a crisp Monday morning. The birds had just begun to sing and the morning frost on the grass was untouched by the sun's rays. Zevran Morgan was sitting silently on a bench on the edge of the Riverside, already awake due to his recently developed insomnia that he couldn't shake. He had has this illness for almost three days now, and he felt like his brain might tear apart from the desire for some rest. He did not know why he couldn't sleep, as a scientist he had always simply assumed that things like insomnia were fake and that patients were simply exaggerating.. he now knew how wrong he was.
