Czech born, lived in Germany.
He'd died from a horrible chest infection. Something that could be easily healed in this day and age.
It had been a horrible experience, his death. It was long and painful, and the closer to the end he got, the more twisted his hallucinations had become. By the end, he didn't know what was real and what was merely feverish delusions. He didn't even hear his brother's heartfelt goodbye.
The afterlife however, was wonderful. He spent many years growing his wings, redeeming himself by watching over the needy.
Then his brother died.
Now the two of them pretty much arse about and plan to continue to do so for the rest of the afterlife.
