"There is something that plagues you. Tell me, and I will find you the cure."
The lavishly dressed merchant leans forward, listening intently to your earnest, and odd request.
"Oh?" he announces, placing a long fingertip to his lip thoughtfully. "A supernatural ailment? Why yes, I have the cure for those as well."
Rain poured down like ink from a bottle, dying the sky and ground a dark depressing color. The season had been rainy, to put it nicely and the current tempest made it almost impossible for anyone to travel.
The merchant sat quietly, sipping at a tea of his own concoction as he listened to the raised voices of a customer and the owner of the inn.
"You can't throw me out!" the irate customer exclaimed. "There's no way I could travel anywhere in that whether! I can repay my debt! This paper sells for quite a lot I'll have you know!"
"Then come back when you have the money! I need the room for paying customers."
The men continued to argue, almost drowned out by the rain.
