The war had ended, the kingdom had fallen and Lior's world with it.

He had always wanted to be a knight, even as a young boy. When he was 13 years old, he approached the captain of the guard demanding to join the knighthood. The captain and the knights just laughed at him, as the minimum age for the trial of knighthood had always been 21 years old. How could this boy even begin to possess to strength and power at his young age they wondered. Lior had been training for this, knowing it was his destiny to become and great knight. Ever since he could remember he had been practicing with a sword and shield. There was no way he would wait another 8 years. He drew his sword on the captain, issuing a challenge. Lior took one last look at his ruined home and packed his bags. With no king to watch over, what would he do now? A knight without anything to protect isn't much of a knight at all. You would think being a knight many towns, city, castles and the like would welcome him to guard their gates but the fall of his kingdom had spread across the land and he had become somewhat of a joke. During the battle Lior has fought bravely and courageously for his home. He was a talented and skill swordsmen and his ability was unmatched. However the sheer number of the enemy had overwhelmed himself and his troops and in the end victory was impossible.

Now Lior roams the lands doing odd jobs and helping people in need. All he wants to be is a knight, all he wants in the world to have a kingdom to watch over and protect and to finally win for his people.
