Saezer and Zemion's experiments with demons had a new course of operations since the discovery of the Pet Zapper. It had been scientifically proved that the flow of energy emitted by the Zapper disclosed so much power to cause a number near to infinite of different reactions in the target, including strange mutations and alterations; fascinated by this, they decided to give it a try. Ceabhall provided a suitable subject, originally a member of the Warador race, and the experimentations begun.
Directly from Saezer's notes regarding the project:
"This log will keep track of the most important mutations occurred in subject 001.
03/20/11 The Warador subject seems to have suddenly switched gender after the last shot, just to switch again some shots after. This alteration encourages me to keep on experimenting, hoping for some more useful mutations to occur in future.
03/22/11 After a large number of failures, due both to the Zapper's strange power and the inability of the personnel operating it, finally the Warador subject has mutated to a Irion with Field traits. It apparently has grown stronger, but after an attempt of rebellion it has been put down and shutted in a more solid cage. That's not what i was searching for, but today's result assured me that the Zapper is the right way.
03/23/11 The Irion subject has mutated again, this time into an unknown creature; a brief research in the Zapper owner's archives proved it to be a #357 specimen, a quite rare result to achieve with a Zapper. But this is not what i started this project for: this heavy and imperfect form of my next creature will be kept under strict control and prepared for the next shot.
Later in the day, the creature mutated again into a #3485 specimen. This new form is even more terrible than the previous, i can't stand to see it. Only the thought of what my creature may become dissuades me from ending the project right here and get rid of this unsightable form.
The last shot of the day brought a new sudden mutation in 001, that took the form of a #893 specimen. Finally that unsightable squid has left its place to this rather strange cross between an horse and a cobra. This creature shares some traits with the demons i'm searching for, but this isn't enough for me: this project will end only when my creature's form will reach perfection, no matter what.
03/24/11 At a late evening shot, the subject seems to have lost all of its aggressive attitude with another mutation: the #893 morphed into a Torrey specimen, with Twilight traits; i barely can believe this form to be the same creature as the strange specimen we discovered yesterday. I'll keep forth on experimenting as soon as possible.
03/25/11 Today, at 5:40 PM, the 001 project has finally been terminated: a demonic spirit, summoned from the Zapper's uncontrollable power, has incarned into subject 001 mutating it to a #76166 specimen. I truly am fascinated by this entity's utter perfection, and hope it to gladly accept me as his master; i suppose the precedent soul to have been completely erased during the incarnation, since the demon doesn't remember what his host has been trough before. I declare this to be a complete success: we will process with attitude and behaviour tests and then start his training immediately."
Experiment001 proved to be a rather loyal companion, well determined to defend his creator and his companions as long his requests were satisfied: first of all, he requested to be allowed to dispose of his defeated enemies' bodies, to drain their life energy; this seemed to be his only way he had to feed himself. Also, fascinated by this world that was completely new to him, he wanted his creator and Zemion to share their knowledge to him.
He has a very curious attitude, interested in everything the world has to offer him; he knows only a part of this world, the dark one, that he says to be identical to his home world, and with which he has a strange bond: presence of death or suffering in the circumstances seems to strenghten him. The light part of the world, conversely, is completely unknown to him, and appeals much more to his inquisitive behaviour.
