- Plays keyboard for the band Space for Rent, alongside her older brother Tortoiseshell and best friend Cherry Sunburst... and also Glowstick, her brother's girlfriend, who isn't officially part of the band but might as well be at this point.
- Her real name's just plain Rosie, but she goes by "Rose Quartz" when performing (a childhood nickname turned stage name, though her real name is common knowledge and not a secret).
- Best friends with Cherry since they were children. Rosie finds Cherry's constant antics of setting things on fire and being loud and obnoxious funny. Since they've known each other for most of their lives, she's just used to it by now. She does try and stop Cherry from going TOO far with her shenanigans, though.
- Very close to her older brother Tortoiseshell and is protective towards him. They tease each other a lot (Rosie moreso than Tortoiseshell), but it's all in good fun. Will not tolerate anyone else making fun of him or otherwise mistreating him.
- She's not sure how to feel about Glowstick. In general she likes her and is friendly towards her, but she's also kind of vaguely suspicious of this strange alien lady that's swept Tortoiseshell off his feet. She's also not sure how to feel about Cherry's insane jealousy towards Glowstick. On the one hand, Rosie feels she should side with Cherry, since they're best friends and hey, Cherry knew Tortoiseshell first. Plus, again, Rosie isn't entirely sure what to make of Glowstick either. On the other hand, Glowstick makes her brother happy, and Cherry is being more than a little irrational about the whole thing. So Rosie often ends up in the middle of it all, torn between keeping the peace and siding with Cherry.
