Captain Steamlace

Steamlace is the pirate captain of the airship Dernier Rêve. She is curt, snarky, and runs her ship with a firm hand. Well-known for plundering the ships of wealthy merchants' daughters, duchesses, princesses, and even queens, she is infamous in the Sky Cities for her ambush tactics. Her taste for treasure lies in cloth finery rather than gold; Steamlace is the fashionista of her era and loves dressing up. She stores her booty in a network of hidden caves in the treacherous Flying Mountains (accessible only to the most adventurous airships). Although she is not afraid to kill, Steamlace is far less bloodthirsty than her feisty pirate rivals that roam the skies. She tends to keep her hands clean and leave her victims alive to purchase more pretty things for her to steal.
