A pale-blue crystalline twenty sided die affixed to a silver chain glimmers through Batsy's coarse fur.
"I wonder if anyone thinks of Batman when they call me that" he longfully thought as he waited for his opponent to make a move.
Batsy rocked one of his wizard figures idly side to side. "I don't know if I could handle all the flying though."
"All right, I got this." his opponent finally spoke up after much pondering over the mossy green game board. They decided to try a forest terrain today; a nice change of rhythm from the stone walls of the dungeon boards they had been using in days prior. He moved his warrior piece to a dense forest area. He was hoping to get an evasion boost so he could survive and attack, then move in for a final strike on Batsy's small fleet of mages.
Batsy tried not to smirk as he watched his opponent hesitantly move his pieces forward. Batsy knew he had distance and crowd control coverage on the opposing warrior fleet, and could probably take most of them out in another roll.
"H-hey what's with the look?" his opponent's voice wavered as he placed his final warrior down.
Batsy chuckled. "Nothing! I just love this game. My roll!" He tossed his dice out onto the table.
The mind games, the people, the fun...these were the things that kept Batsy coming back for more.
