Personality: Although large and bear-like in stature, Mayzen is a very gentle giant and shockingly placid for one so intimidating. He is thoughtful and methodical in almost everything he does, smart and sharp witted despite his often slow, lumbering appearance. He is a quiet watcher, wary of strangers but eager to pursue them and observe. He is at his happiest and strongest when protecting others, which is unfortunately when he is most likely to fall into his bloodrages, a hormonal byproduct of old years passed in the fighting pits. Although he is fiercely loyal of friends and family (despite this often being one sided) the bloodrage is most often indiscriminate. There always seems to be a sadness about him and, although he would give his life for others, he likes to keep a distance from the rest of the world.
