Clegg is a healer without parallel. His healing ability is known far and wide across Subeta. He comes from a ancient breed that has amazing healing powers, and he is among the best they have ever known. He has never been known to turn down a patient who truly needs his help, no matter what the cost.

Though only the truly disparate ever seek him out. It's not because he can only be found wondering the most desert place of the frozen wastelands. It's not the cost that he demands as payment. He's never once demanded the first born of any family (he's really at lost to raise anything that isn't minion or plant...in fact, well, it's best he didn't raise them either), it's the fact that Clegg doesn't quite always look at things the same way other do. He has his own way of looking at life that is a bit off beat from most.

Clegg's more famous exploit includes the curing of a remote village of Blood-Red pets from a fatal prion disease. The village had tried all healers they could get to come to their remote village in the forest. They had tried to every other option they could before seeking out Clegg. Though many of the more famous healers couldn't really be bothered to go out to such a remote village or wanted to meet the failure that surely waited for them there. Or perhaps a mixture of both.

So with all hope lost, word was sent to fetch Clegg. He came, in very little hurry, but still he came and demanded nothing in return for his services. The first two strikes against him. After all, only someone crazy would go to such a village. It was so poor and remote, no one would really notice his success there. Also he saw the want and poverty so well in the village that he knew anything they could offer him would surely be taking food away from the less strong. Healing isn't a cheap craft after all, and who can have faith in something that is free without it being crazy?

Well, Clegg was able to cure this village were so many couldn't, but it wasn't exactly the cure they had imagined. This disease was unique to their Blood-red Culture and the eating of infected meat. So he simply turned them all to Glade Antlephores, Kanises, and Legeicas. In Clegg's mind, it made perfect sense. Those species of Glade pets weren't able to eat the infected meat, so it had no effect on them.

Consequently all the stories involving Clegg follow the same pattern. An Angelic Montre had a disease in her wings...poof, she's a Dark-matter Hikei. A spoiled Chibi Kerubi might complain about a stomach ache only to find he's now a Graveyard Kerubi, since zombie pets don't tend to get stomach aches.

Everyone has different theories involving Clegg's eccentricities. Some people believe all the great healing gifts weigh to heavily on him and broke his mind. Some people joking think of the absent minded professor stereotype. Others suggest that children must have used his egg as a soccer ball before he hatched.
