Ricotta - Faux Unicorn

When Ricotta was no older than a year, he was permanently fitted with a unicorn's severed horn, after his mother had begged and pleaded with a local alchemist to grant her child immortality and youth. As he became older, it was obvious that the horn did have some effect on him. His toes turned as hard as hooves, his ears grew long, and a slender tufted tail had formed from the bottom of his back. He grew, under his mother's watchful eye, away from others, as she was determined to keep him as pure as the legendary beast from which his features came. Then, at the young age of 15, Ricotta simply stopped growing. He never appeared older, his voice never changed from the boyish tone it had always been... It was as if time had left him in the state he was in. He watched as his mother grew older over the years, never speaking of his seemingly perpetual youth. And it was all too soon when the day came that she left to get supplies from the nearest village, and never returned. Having never known any other people aside from her, Ricotta began to cautiously venture out from his home, getting what he needed where he could get it. The more time went by, the more the unicorn boy learned about himself, and just how special he really was. Through years of traveling across the continent, he taught himself the languages he needed to survive. Still wary of others and somewhat anti-social to this day, Ricotta has settled in a small village, intending to stay there until his time on Earth comes to an end.

Abilities: Limited glamour magic (just enough to appear normal to other humans), can speak with and understand animals, healing magic. Speaks Commonwealth English, Italian, and Spanish fluently.
