Curse of The Gods
Two-faced, creepy, beautiful, crawling under your skin and always around when bad things happen. The demon that lurks around street lights leaving a scent trail of expensive perfumes. She's the elusive feline others seek out for a little taste of what might happen. A fortune teller of ill will and good fortune. Shuraka is the one to go to when you just need to know what lies ahead in your future. She'll take your money, your possessions, and all that you've got if you fall under her spell! Aside from making her money by schemeing the public of its riches (its how she was able to open up her shady little shop in an alley street corner) Shuraka is also the wife of Clockwork and the mother of quite the litter of children. She is easy to please with scented perfumes, incense, bath soaps, and tarot cards. Though tread carefully when seeking out this Celinox...The shadows at your feet could be turned against you if you speak ill of her.
Though this mistress is known for her dark beauty, she is also known for the many skeletons in her closet...
A Little Birdie Told Me

Persephone the Darkwing
Shuraka always had Persephone by her side throughout her years as a fortune teller. The minion added an evil aura to her as it thrived off the dark matter that constantly was being produced into the air around her. Persephone was named after the goddess of the underworld. This miniature irion looking minion likes to chew on Shuraka's tarot cards and fly off with customer's wallets if they haven't paid the right amount for her services.

Clockwork the Graveyard Celinox
My lovely and inventive husband. He could double as my wife too if I wanted! Having no gender isn't so bad, after all. He's been the only one to steal this dark lady's heart I'm afraid. Sure everyone says I could do better. But I want to be happy in life...My love, you have given me that happiness I have been seeking all these years that fortune telling hasn't brought me. I love you~ And you've blessed me with my own mini army of pranksters to boot!
Crystilica the Graveyard Celinox
My undead sister. I love her to death and our colorful debates can be quite...Colorful. Chuckles She is a superb violinist, makes me want to get out my old tambourine I had since I was a child and jam with her.

Tell Me A Story...
Shuraka's story begins in the same London Styled town that has no name. She grew up in a family of gypsies, thieves, and fortune tellers. She learned all the tricks from her mother and started telling fortune's since she was 8. Some say fortune telling is one of the biggest scams of all time. It all depends on how much you believe. Shuraka has built up a reputation over the years of conning desperate men and women who don't believe in her dark magic. The one's who get conned are only the non-believers. The lucky bunch that actually have their fortune come true are the ones that truly believe...And that sucks them in even more.
Clockwork, believe it or not, was one of her well known customers. Shuraka enjoyed his company and she eased his little worries here and there. But when he asked her about the project he was working on she lied about the outcome. She knew Clockwork was destined to die in the end but she couldn't bring her selfish heart to tell him so. He paid her well and went on his way after their little chat. When the time came for Clockwork to perish, along with his sister Crystilica, Shuraka immediately set out to look for him. She left her little fortune telling booth in the alley and out to hunt down the man that haunted her dreams day and night. She came too late though, as the building Clockwork resided in was empty and blocked off, labeling it as a crime scene.
Eyeing the caution tape and the other police carefully Shuraka slipped in around the back of the tenement building and through a window that was left forgotten. Entering the house sent her fur standing on end as she neared the basement. It was almost as if she could feel what transpired, though the scent that still lingered gave her a general picture of what had happened. Clockwork was gone and that was that. Shuraka later picked up his scent though lingering away from the building once she quietly exited...Out of the city and into the outskirts towards the cemetery.
She could have had any other Celinox she wanted...But instead, she chose a beat up Graveyard who had no gender and a sullen attitude. Shuraka could have married someone more handsome. But. In the end, the Fortune Teller fell in love with the Zombie. She had to find him. As long as that Celinox was okay Shuraka was perfectly fine and she could return to her normal scam lifestyle.
They met up near a mosoleum, the sight of the Graveyard twins made Shuraka stop dead in her tracks. He really had died. BOTH of them had died and she could have prevented all of this! Shuraka lost all of her calm and cool demeanor and broke down into tears at the sight...
---
The nightmares only got worse when the guilt of not telling him he was going to die haunted her. Shuraka still hasn't told him the actual outcome to this day, in fear of losing all that she had gained from the Graveyard Celinox. A family, a loving husband, a feisty sister-in-law, and a higher status in life than some gypsy girl playing card tricks with dark magic. Soon, all her anxiety of keeping that big of a secret materialized...And caused the young couple to lose their very first child.
Born too early, Schrodinger only lived for a few hours after birth before passing away. Stricken with grief and bad karma Shuraka read her own fortune over and over, trying to see if her fate of losing her first child would have been prevented. The cards never lied. The Darkmatter Celinox sat there in the dark of her room, staring at the cards. She had to undo what the cards told. Eyeing the trunk she recently moved into her new home with her husband and his sister, Shuraka began to move without thinking. Opening the trunk revealed some old folklore spell books and whatnot that fortune tellers used to trick the public to make their act more believable. Some books were said to give their master's powers in the end if they read them all the way through.
Shuraka spent the next couple of days hauled up in her room reading these ancient books she had inherited from her mother. To the others in the house the thought she was still mourning over the loss of her son.
By the third day, she finally understood what to do. Shuraka placed a tarot card on the table with a glob of her Darkmatter, along with lighting some incense to keep her mind clear and focused. She had to be calm or else this would never work. Shuraka had never...Summoned, a dead soul before. Shuraka placed her paws over the pages and to read the selected words aloud as the air became stale and thick with a black miasma fog.
What materialized on the table was a small lump of dark turquoise and blackish looking fur in the shape of a Celinox.
Shuraka closed her book and nudged the furball which purred in response and looked up at her with huge, black sockets with two white glowing beady eyes in the middle. The recognition in her eyes told her for sure. This was her once deceased son, Schrodinger. She had brought him back from the dead and out of her nightmares to the living! Overjoyed and slightly intimidated at what she just pulled off Shuraka quickly gathered the small Nightmare Celinox in her arms and nuzzled him to her before running off to tell Clockwork the "good news."
Witchcraft was one thing this city wouldn't tolerate. Gypsies were often hung or jailed for trapping people into their caravans. Fortune Tellers were tolerated because people became addicted to knowing their future no matter what the cost. Schrodinger had to grow up indoors until something could be done about his appearance. Shuraka didn't mind though, as long as she was a mother she didn't care what the world thought of her demon spawn of a son. She loved him even if he was the product of death and nightmares.
Shuraka was blessed with an entire litter after Schrodinger and thankfully none of her children met the same fate (or rebirth) as their eldest brother. Clockwork even got her to take up her little fortune telling hobby again so she could make money on the side for their large family. The Dark Lady of the streets was soon back in action.
End of The Line...
