I lay, on the edge of a cliff. The wind slowly blowing through my hair. My toes curl in the soft grass. The sun beats down on my dark skin, and I blink a few times. It's bright. I dig my hands in the soft Earth and feel it's cool and gritty texture. I pinch a grain of dirt between my fingers and flick it over the cliff. The wind carries the scent of flowers, past my nose. Peace. I brush my raven hair from my face, with my tattoo'd hands. I slowly rise up, using my hands for leverage. I brush some of the brown dust off my, silky white dress. The wind slowly begins to pick up. Faster and faster. The sky turns dark, and grey. The sun goes into hiding and the peacefulness vanishes. Suddenly before my eyes lay a huge tornado. Sucking up everything in it's path. The harsh current blows my back. I try to regain my balance but I fail. My feet no longer have ground. Chunks chip off the cliff as I plummet to the ground. It seems forever, My entire existence flashes before me eyes. My mother, my siblings. The sound of a baby crying and the smell of freshly baked bread. Suddenly I hear a crack and everything turns black. But then. I open my eyes. I'm floating, and I suddenly wash ashore. This place..it's unfamiliar to me. I look down and I see my dark Egyptian skin has turned to white silky fur. There are brightly coloured tattoo's all over me. I can see smells, and hear things I couldn't before. I have been reborn. In a new place, and a new body. A fresh start. I welcome new friends, and thank you for visiting me.
