As the old television flickered a common Ruffie and a common Dragarth lie there un-moving. The only sound that could be heard was the soft wing-beats of a Korda flying anxiously around the room. There was a beam of evening light coming through the only window in that tiny room,the power had been out since noon. There was tension in the air,a mix of worry and anxiety. Suddenly the light blue Dragarth pushed himself up off the ground and began toward a mini refrigerator in the corner of the room, looking desperately for something to eat,but he couldn't decide as he sat there letting the cool air of the fridge brush through his thin fur..."Hey,Cinco,what do you think your doing Just pick something you know without power we need to keep the fridge closed as much as possible!" The Ruffie barked.Cinco shook his head and closed the refrigerator door stepping back. "Hey,Saidee turn on the news,I wanna see if they have more information on the virus"....Saidee suddenly had a sick feeling in her stomach,the same feeling she had this morning...A sense of Foreboding,however Saidee simply ignored it as she flicked through channels with her left paw on the remote until she found the news channel.It was Anchor woman Tina Torrey,a bright Dawn Torrey, normally she is happy and cheerful ,but right now she looked frightened,I knew why because outside of the huge studio window there were many bloodthirsty,bloodred, savage animals running loose and biting innocent citizens,spreading the virus. "T-this I-is Tina Torrey here with your virus updates". By now she was shaking with fear "As you can see the Virus is spreading rapidly and it makes it far more difficult to be safe with the power outage,and the night approaching"......."I-I advise all of you out there to stay indoors and Never leave your homes an-" Before she could finish her sentence a Bloodred Tigrean broke through the window and started to Gnash and tear at Tina's flesh,infecting her with the virus......Shaking with fear Cincodemaio quickly shut off the Television. Anna the small Korda Perched herself atop of my head and I could feel her tiny claws digging into my fur and skin. "Owch,Anna that hurts!" Anna loosened her grip and let out a tiny shriek as if to say sorry.It was getting darker and darker by the minute as sunset turned to twilight and twilight turned to night.Cinco turned to his side sleepily to get a glance at the clock,it read 11:59pm. "I must have fallen asleep" he said to mumbling to himself...All of a sudden Cinco Heard Blood chilling howl..He sat there for a moment,then turned to shake Saidee awake."WHAT!"..."shhhhhhh" Cinco hissed "whats going on"I said rubbing my eyes,Cinco looked scared,like he had just seen a ghost or something"Saidee I heard a growl from right outside the window" Cinco stuttered "what do yo-"...,but before Cinco could finish his question the creature broke through the window,it was a giant Bloodred Velosotor,it let out a great roar,we backed up in shock but Anna didn't she took it full speed at the beast,even though she didn't stand a chance. "NOO" I yelled as the Velosotor whipped Anna against the wall.Anna Screeched in pain and fell limp on the hardwood floor. Cinco Signaled me to get on his back,I jumped on and he zoomed out the window flying faster than ever before to loose that Velosotor! There were no safe spots anywhere and I could tell that Cinco was getting tired,so I told him to land near a cave I used to go to when I was a pup,the cave was located in a forest,a thick dense forest isolated from everyone,from civilization.We landed quickly so we could get to the cave without being seen... "Oh Cinco what do we do"? I turned my head away from Cinco because I was starting to bawl. "I-I don't know" Cinco said wrapping his tail around me "All we can do for now is lay low" I knew we couldn't do that anytime soon because I heard some more growling from the cave entrance....Cinco and I backed up getting ready to fight,I got a glance at Cinco before we had to fight,I saw pain and worry in his eyes,I felt how he looked.Scared.Worried.Along with that same sense of foreboding I had felt this morning. The only thing we could do was wait and they came at us by the dozens just wanting to infect us. Cinco charged at them screeching as I followed behind,we fought and they fought,blood flew,teeth gnashed and Screams could be heard from miles from that cave and suddenly the only thing I could remember was a Blood chilling scream and a bright white light........ -GASP- I awoke in a cold sweat looking around frantically.The old television flickered,there was a beam of evening light coming through the only window in the tiny room and the air was filled with tension.A mix of worry and anxiety. I looked around,I must have been dreaming,or maybe not,I looked to my right and saw a jet-black Dragarth covered in blood.....It was Cinco.....I looked my paws...They were bloody also and I thought to myself "My God,were infected"! Cinco soon woke up and said to me "We can get through this...Together"..."Now,it is time to hunt"..I could feel the blood lust getting stronger in me and I let out a blood-chilling Howl,The howl that began our hunt....and our Brand new life..... ________________________________________________________________________________ Everything You read here is fictional,and not part of any real plot,but a story I have made up!
