is it just me, or are things
it all started in that long dark hall. being trapped in the suffocating darkness and sweltering decay; the stench eating at your nostrils and drilling nausea through your every cell. i reached out into the unknown like a blind prophet, hoping to find a way out of the nothingness i had somehow ended up in - how exactly, i cannot remember. i only grasped onto the emptiness of the space before me, reaching out to nothing more than a figment of my imagination, creating some false escape in my mind. the echoes of voices filled my mind, speaking to me, sounding closer than ever before in the blanket of black. they spoke to me, they told me what i should do. i nodded, stumbling through the darkness like a drunken moron. driven by a manic craze, spiked to the point of maniacal cackling and idiotic chattering. upon reaching the light, collapsing onto my knees once in the open, i had finally realized what had happened to me. only just as the feeling took control, causing me to lose my conscious train of thought, i realized i had been brainwashed
