Will you hear nothing I say
As the tide just sweeps and sways
As the anchors that bind me

A soft melodic voice carried through the small town, waking a young man from his slumber. He stumbled as he made his way towards the jagged cliff that laid on the outskirts of town. As he approached, the voice continued singing it's mesmerizing song. He continued walking, even as he neared the steep cliff overlooking the ocean. One final step was all it took. Before he even knew what was happening he had fallen to his demise; a quick meal for the creatures below. They felt no pity for their prey, they only longed for more frequent meals. Their voices could only carry so far from their salty dwellings.
