Maui likes to collect anything fire related and anything related to the colors orange and yellow. Wanna meet him? Send him something orange or yellow and you may get to pet 'em. :)

Maui has also taken on the role of guardian of Molokai, a chibi telenine who was cast out because of his abnormally large ears. Trying his best, he takes care of him and himself, as he is still quite young for his age. Maui grew up on his own, his family deserting him when he was very young. He learned to fend for himself and to only rely on his instincts to survive. Only when he came across Molokai, did he suddenly have the urge to take over as a parent and raise the young telenine.

Even though Maui may seem down to earth, he is quite different. He can come off as sincere and charming one minute to spontaneous and silly the next. His personalty balances between the two and you never know when they will appear.

Background:

Maui is a Nixphe, a rare species found in certain parts of the world. He lives in the canopy of forests, preferably near the bottoms of mountains and feeds on vegetation and sometime small rodents and other tiny creatures.
