Minion the Graffin

A little sprinkle here
A little sprinkle there
A dash of sugar
A splash of vanilla
Precise measurements
Stir the mixture

Cupcakes are rising by the dozen
Soon ready to eat
My master will be pleased with me
In the kitchen is where I'll be
Tell me your worries
I'll offer you a treat
There's no worry a treat can't beat

Cookies so gooey and warm
They are the perfect circular form
Dip them in a glass of milk
My mothers recipes, made with love
Dirty kitchen
Messy apron
Dishes stacked high
That's a good days baking

Ryuu slid a gentle hand under his mothers head to prop her up enough to help her drink from the glass of water. She took two sips but started to cough, her throat aching. Since his father had died, his mothers illness had only gotten worse. The doctor had said she wouldn't live to see Christmas but Ryuu refused to believe him, he refused to give up on her.

"Sleep now, mum" He dipped his head to place a loving kiss between her eyes. He didn't want to go to work and leave her but they desperately needed the money for her medicine and it didn't come cheap. "D-Don't go, Ryuu" She said in a voice so weak it broke his heart.

He let out a sad sigh as he turned back from the door and cradled her thin hand into his. "Rest and I promise when I get back we can sit in front of the fire and eat cookies" Ryuu whispered I love you just as she was starting to slip back asleep.

Ryuu's hobbies include baking and sowing so his job as a butler is perfect for him. He lives to serve his masters and take care of his sick mother. He is quiet and nurturing, often hiding all of his worries behind a sweet smile.

His father died in the war, leaving him and his mother alone. He has an older brother who followed in his fathers footsteps and became a knight. He sometimes sends them money but Ryuu rarely gets to see him.
