I have finally sprouted and await my victim, not many travel through this part of the woods(save from the wanderer looking for a short cut) which is how my seed made it to this barren place. Some stupid human had a hole in their bag and I dropped from it and planted myself in the soil. I am all ready to become more than just a jumble of weeds and eyes.

Chi

'Oh man I am late!' I think as I hurry through a small section of forest, if I was smart I would have steered clear of the path that not even a cricket was chirping, but then again I am in hurry and this Darkonite is one of the fiercest.

Ita

I'm in luck, a fool is coming this way. I slowly stretch out a vine while they rush into the path, where they promptly fell over and cursed, and in a moment I pulled him towards me into the darkness where I was on him. Taking my weed like body and violently took over this unfortunate soul who happens to wander too close to where I was lying in wait. I can feel myself take form but something wasn't quite right. Part of me was still fuzzy. The creature had fought back during my taking over and now I am part animal, part plant. I scowl looking at the blood stained furry 'hand' as a small voice inside my head asked. 'Who are you?'

Chi

I start through only to be tripped by a stupid vine I was sure that wasn't there a second ago. What,wait it's pulling me into the darkness, towards these terrible eyes. I panicked. Yes, the great Chi panicked; this thing was overtaking my body. Making my body its own. I fought back and part of me stayed in the maroon fur, in several places. I can tell who ever it was wasn't happy with me keeping it from completely overtaking me so I put forward this one thought:'Who are you?'

Ita

“I am Ita” I say out loud feeling rather stupid for talking to myself but at least no one is around to see me talking to my prey. I could feel the other's presence as a tickle in the back of my mind. 'What did you do to me? Why am I like this?' I sigh, knowing I had to explain something most Subetans already knew. “I am an Aeanoid-- a plant-like species who need to find a host in order to gain a body. We grow from seeds, and we'll take over any pet that comes near after a three-day period.”

Chi

'I am that someone' I think blandly. Ita also agreed. “You were that someone.” He shifted his weight and went to walk but I kept him from going anywhere. I could feel my eyes close and he sighed. “So what was your name?” I want to yell out but they overpowered me for control of the voice, I had to let this upstart know. 'I am the great Chi. Furthermore I seem to control the legs. We aren't going anywhere. You took my life from me now I do the same to you. We will wither and die here.' I started to laugh.

Ita

I begin to worry. Would this crazy pet really make us die here? I tried to think when a small Aeanoid holding a Panda Plushie came wandering though the path. Even Chi had stopped laughing and we watched as the little creature came up to us and stretched out his little leaf hands and simply said “hug?” while wrapping his little hands around us. A sharp jolt went through us and for some strange reason myself and this Chi merged into one and we suddenly open our eyes.

Everything was clear, we weren't Ita or Chi, I am Itachi.

Itachi

The little Aeanoid pulled on my furred hand and led me to a human who they called their 'dad'. He said I could stay as long as I'd like. I think I will take him up on the offer since there are many Aeanoids and Darkonites here.
