Jiang is a very, VERY rare breed- a Crossfaded experiment. See, sometimes, experiments didn't give results immediately and they were considered to have no effect- thus causing them to be experimented on twice and usually, that killed most of them off entirely. But a few adapted to their body's sudden change and became "Crossfaded"- a combination of two experiments at once. Jiang is a Crossfaded Nightmare/Spectrum, which had a bizzare side effect- he could allow the colors to take him over, change his appearance- and with it, his personality. His memories remain across all "colors" but his personality and appearance would take on the color inhabiting him. Jiang has given all the colors names, too- black is Ren, Xue is blue, Tao is yellow and Xihao is red.
Jiang LOVES to create graffiti, and would very much like to cover the city in beautiful paints and colors, but he knows that goal is impossible. Still, it doesn't stop him from tagging alleyways with beautiful art. The other Colors all seem to have their own thoughts and dreams at times- Ren wants to see an ideal justice system established. Xue wants to improve the school system. Tao wants to make something that will make everyone happy and Xihao just wants to get drunk with friends. Each color spirit has their own goal, and so generally only will help Jiang when it helps THEM, too. And in Jiang's line of work, the ability to chameleon his way into places is incredibly useful...
Jiang is an artist, so it makes sense his passion is art. All of the colors have their own independent hobbies, too. Ren's main hobby is martial arts and he has a daily regimen he maintains- whether Jiang knows or not. Xue's primary hobby is reading and the taking up of OTHER new hobbies- making him a kind of jack-of-all-trades. Xihao just wants to party.
Jiang has a fairly nice loft apartment in Centropolis, mostly decorated with wooden furniture and earthy colors- with paint splattered liberally everywhere. His kitchen is NEVER clean, and his living room/bedroom is situated as such that he has a pretty amazing view of Centropolis. His bed and electronics are just about the ONLY thing without paint on them and he has his walls covered in graffiti.
