I always read better aloud.
It was easier for me to really picture the scene: the knight saving the princess, the couple sharing a romantic moment, the monster chasing its victims down the hall.
It always sounded better when I could physically hear it.
But I never thought that I would literally bring something to life like that. For as much as I loved to visualize the words and the pictures they painted: I never wanted to really see the creature that bubbled up from a puddle of goo and mist. First bone then muscle then terrible, terrible flesh.
That's how I came to have Dyogenes in my life.
