There were tales of a beautiful princess who lived in the deep forests of the village. Ones that told of a beauty so great, suitors from all over the world requested her hand in marriage. And others that told of how lovely her voice was.But there was one story, hidden from the public eye, that told of a more haunting tale that only one had survived to tell.

The young man stood on the edge of the forest, determined to venture in and find out if the stories of a princess from his childhood were real. He was always fascinated with the tales, always found himself staring in the darkness. A longing. Today he would go in and find her.
Days into his journey, he started feeling defeated. His food and water supply was almost gone, and there was still no sign of her. He sighed deeply, marking new lines on a map he decided would be a good idea to make. He'd have to start making his way back now if wanted to try again later.
Though it would seem fate had other plans, as a most beautiful song drifted through the trees. It startled him at first. Why would there be music so far into the forest. Then he realized this might be her, and his heart skipped a beat. Quickly gathering his things, he set off in the direction of the music before it vanished.
