Natty's beauty shop has a granite exterior that mirrors a magnificent London plane tree, its bark a dappled mixture of gray and green patches. The slabs used to construct the storefront were chosen for their ability to sparkle and reveal their array of colors depending on the position of the sun. Rainy days give the shop a brooding look, allowing the glowing letters of the name plate to demand the eyes of every passerby. The plate glass windows offer a tempting glance at high-quality beauty products, enticing browsers to come inside.

Slender glass doors open with a subtle whoosh at the tripping of a sensor. Spotlights modeled after Hollywood's finest light the expansive store in a soft glow that leaves no hint of shadow while every display boasts strips of light that illuminate a dizzying selection of products. The air is sweet, yet the scent of perfume is subtle. It is a place to recall memories of first dates and girl's night shopping sprees worth remembering.

A receptionist staffs the central desk, smiling at every incoming customer. She is there to guide newcomers in the direction of the displays and alert beauticians to the arrival of regulars in need of a refreshing hour. To the right is the waiting area. A dozen chairs molded for maximum comfort are arranged in a semicircle before the glass partition that blocks the view of the salon sinks on the opposite side. The glass is inlaid with thin black vines that perfectly match the shade of the patterned carpet.
