According to ancient texts, in 3000 BC Menes was named the first human King of Egypt, inheriting the throne and the crown from the falcon-headed god, Horus (also known as Ra, the God of the Sun). What was not written in history is that Horus also gave Menes another gift, a mechanical guardian named Ankhbes, the Guardian of Life.
