Zlatka awoke to the sound of a heart monitor. She ha been unconscious for an undetermined amount of time, and could not remember where she was. All she could remember was a bright light, a loud gun blast, and the taste of blood in her mouth. The pure white room she was in, was alien and so pristine that she was almost sure she had died. Thats when she pulled the covers off of her body, and found what had frightened her beyond her finite lifetime. Her left arm, which she was completely incapable of feeling, had been completely replaced by a silvery mechanical arm. It was so perfectly detailed, and yet, it was apparent it was an add on as it was abruptly metal after midway down her furry red arm. She picked it up, and clenched her fox-like metal paw together.
