Aludria is a creature of the zodiac. He is originates in the void which lies parallel to our world. Brave humans of the past tribes of the earth used to form contracts with their spirit brothers and sisters. Once of an age to be a hunter, they would travel on their own into the spirit caves in the mountains. Three days they would prepare their soul and strengthen their will to venture into the void beyond.

The void beyond is one of color and mist. To those who are not native, it saps their strength slowly. It is a dangerous place for a human who is not bonded but the spirit caves allow for the apprentice hunter to step into the void close to an altar. The human allows three drops of blood to fall unto the altar and sends for a call to any zodiac spirits nearby. If one answers the call, then a contract can be struck if the human survives the challenge. If contract is struck, the human becomes a hunter and the zodiac spirit will accompany the hunter back to the earth to fight at it's side, sharing wisdom, experience and strength.

As the centuries have gone by, humans have lost the lore that allowed them to become hunters. Magic of the void and the balance of the zodiacs has been replaced with technology and science. Passage from the earth into the void has become rocky and the creatures have answered fewer calls by the humans. The balance is off. Some few have written the lore in books that have been passed down from generation to generation, and they insist that the balance must be returned. There are some humans that still answer to the code of the hunters and follow the guides that lead them into the world of mists and spirits. Those that emerge with contracts form a small society now called the "Circle of Twelve".

Aludria is a zodiac creature called forth by his hunter. A contract was struck and now Aludria roams the earth by his side. Once called into this world he performs whatever task his human master requires of him. Most of the time he stays close by in the shadows by turning completely black. Since his human master usually hunts in the night Alu can also provide light by making his fur glow.

Rat

Rats have a strong intellectual gifting and are usually smart, witty, curious and perceptive. They also have good taste and can be charming and humorous. Rats make good friends to hunters, as they are loyal and generous to those within their good graces.

Ox

The Ox is known to be diligent, focused and dependable. They bond to hunters who would most likely pay great attention to detail and have a serious personality. Ox are usually strong and protective companions to hunters, and enjoy the company of family and friends. However, they can also be introverted and solitary creatures.

Trustworthy, industrious and able to accomplish set goals
Weaknesses:
Stubborn, insecure and prone to feelings of loneliness

Tiger

Tigers bond to natural leaders and go-getters, as they have a pretty impressive persona. Filled with courage, ambition and energy, they are also very passionate, though they exhibit frequent mood swings. Unbeknownst to other hunters , Tigers are actually very affectionate too.

Can be temperamental at times

Rabbit

Rabbits are homely spirits who like nothing better than to stay by the hearth. Their genuine kindness, empathy and warmth make them popular with almost everyone. They are the most frequent contracts to hunters, and can provide a solid scout and companion. Unfortunately, these very same traits also make them less minded towards battle.

Non-confrontational nature

Dragon

The Spirit of the Dragon is considered the most auspicious Zodiac creature. Generally, Dragons are incredibly high-spirited and possess a magnetic personality. They create contracts with innate leaders. On the down side, they also suffer from a superiority complex and can be difficult for hunters to work with.

Conceited and self-centered

Snake

Those who create contracts with the Snake are rather dangerous and should be treated with caution. Snakes are clever, logical yet instinctive, and hard workers for their hunters. They are also good investors and often search for information for their bonded.

Insecure and easily jealous

Horse

Horses love to be free and are independent spirits who take great pleasure in travelling. Though they enjoy love and intimacy, they can come across as a rolling stone who is unable to commit and settle down. They bond well to hunters who travel the world. Horses are highly seductive zodiac creatures and can also be touchy.

Goat

Goats are thinkers with tremendous creative ability, who prefer to be left undisturbed in their contemplations. They also set a great store by appearances. They create contracts rarely with humans. Though they have admirable strengths, goats suffer from a lot of self doubt and need a lot of love and encouragement to ease their constant anxiety.

Monkey

Monkeys are fun-loving spirits who are usually live-wires everywhere they go. Their optimism and enthusiasm is contagious but they tend to be a little wild. Monkeys have poor morals and put themselves first. They are also bad at maintaining contracts.

Roosters are honest, down-to-earth and trusting spirits. They are neat, tend to be traditionalists and can be real sticklers. Roosters are also observant and ingenious creatures.

Dog

Dogs are devoted to those they love and create contracts with. They are perfect for hunters whom battle, and are great trackers. However, Zodiac dogs can also turn out to be rigid and temperamental.

Pig

Zodiac Pigs have exquisite taste. They are also pleasant and gracious creatures. Pigs make good friends and are generally accommodating, but don’t let their geniality fool you! Pigs can be very nasty when there is conflict.
