The daughter of both a historian professor and an English poetry lit professor, Annis has always been surrounded by the wonders of history and books. Annis and her brother, Silvanus, grew up teased for their strange, olden sounding names. Silvanus shortened his name to Silva and was able to gain some popularity among their teenage peers, but Annis grew up with very few friends and fixated on her education and her books. Now adults, Annis is a successful anthropologist and collector of rare antique books. She loves her work, but is still very much a loner. She has very few friends and she mostly keeps to herself.
