Growing up, I've always had cats in my life. Colonel 2, Body, Colonel 3, Runt, Blizzard, Ralph, Caramel, Emma, Traverse, and Anukis were among my childhood pets. They were each so unique with their own little personalities. For instance Colonel 3 hated when people did the dishes, he'd attack their ankles whenever someone was doing the dishes. Emma was just a little princess, and she had this habit of either always over estimating or underestimating her jumps. Blizzard lived to be an old man of 22 years of age, who stood down a cougar at 21 years of age.

It made sense that when I moved out on my own I would have cats of my own. First, I got Sage, who I had from 8 weeks old until she was 12 years of age. Losing her was very hard on me... I didn't have a cat for an entire year after loosing my Sagey-Poo. Finally I got Adelaide. I saw her in PetCo's adoptions and her eyes looked so sad. I was hooked and had to rescue her. I was working 12-hours a night as a dispatcher, however, and felt Adelaide might be lonely for 12 hours a night. So I decided to go to the humane society and adopted Abigail.

Turns out neither of them really cared for the other. They didn't fight... but they ignored each other's existence for the most part. Then I decided to travel and live in an RV. I took Adelaide and Abigail with, and along the way we picked up Eloise in the Black Hills of South Dakota.
