Profile
Planeswalker - A person who plays the cardgame Magic: The Gathering.

I had seen MtG(Magic the Gathering) cards in passing, at stores. I would always gawk at the beautiful artwork of the cards in the single's cases. But I never had anyone who knew the game around to teach me how to play, and was far too introverted and awkward to just go to a store's magic night to see if anyone would teach me. So, I forgot all about MtG.
Then I met my boyfriend, and learned that he played MtG with his friends. I went to watch them play MtG once and expressed interest in learning it. Christmas was right around the corner, and my boyfriend got me The Wilds of Eldraine commander deck Virtue and Valor. He sat down and me and my new deck and taught me how to play. My deck did really well, and I even won against him a couple times with it. Then I was introduced to the pod, and there were some really good players in it. I could never win, and they gave me tip and tricks on how to play and how to improve my deck.
This was when I started swapping cards in and out of my Virtue and Valor deck so much that it no longer could be considered a precon anymore. So I named it Enchanting Wilds. Then I decided I was going to try my hand out at building my own deck. I knew I wanted it to be Valkyrie themed, and so I went with mono-white Angel Tribal for that deck. After that, I was hooked.
I'm attempting to do the 32 deck challenge(in which you make a commander deck for every color combination). Check out my decks so far... click on the commander to go to my archidekt deck list.
My Decks
ValkyriesThis mono-white Angel tribal deck leverages Giada, Font of Hope as a core enabler, providing +1/+1 counters to incoming Angels based on existing ones and generating white mana specifically for Angel casts to accelerate deployment of high-impact flyers. The primary strategy focuses on ramping into early Angels via cost reducers like Pearl Medallion and Urza's Incubator, building a lifegain engine through cards like Archangel of Thune and Righteous Valkyrie to grow the board and fuel value, while using stax pieces for protection. Threats deploy via casting (often reduced cost) or recursion like Serra Paragon, aiming for overwhelming aerial combat or lifegain-based finishers like Aetherflux Reservoir. Giada is essential for synergy and efficiency, castable by turn 2-3 and recastable affordably; the strategy is vulnerable to commander removal but mitigated by it's protection suite.
AzamiThis mono-blue deck is built around Azami, Lady of Scrolls, leveraging Wizard tribal synergies to generate massive card advantage and execute game-winning combos. The primary strategy involves deploying low-cost Wizards to fuel Azami's draw ability, controlling the board with counterspells and bounce effects, and assembling one of several instant-win conditions. Azami serves as the engine and central combo piece, enabling explosive draw turns and infinite loops with cards like Intruder Alarm. The deck operates as a draw-go control shell with high synergy, capable of winning through laboratory-maniac effects, infinite draw combos, or combat damage amplified by card-draw payoffs.
Apocalypse Now, PleaseThis mono-black deck leverages Sheoldred, the Apocalypse as its central engine, combining forced card draw, life-drain synergies, and reanimation to pressure opponents. The primary strategy revolves around punishing opponents for drawing cards via Sheoldred's trigger, amplified by effects like Peer into the Abyss and Dark Deal. Secondary win conditions include infinite combos with Exquisite Blood/Sanguine Bond and Bloodchief Ascension/Mindcrank, alongside reanimation of high-impact threats like Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre. Sheoldred is essential for accelerating the life-drain plan but can be reanimated or protected; the deck functions without her through combo redundancy and stax elements like Contamination.
Imodane, the PyrohammerThis Imodane, the Pyrohammer deck is a mono-red "burn multiplier" strategy that converts targeted damage spells into explosive group slug effects. The commander amplifies single-target damage spells (e.g., Lightning Bolt, Shivan Meteor) to hit all opponents simultaneously, supported by damage doublers like Fiery Emancipation and Solphim, Mayhem Dominus. Secondary win conditions include ritual-fueled X-spells (Banefire, Electrodominance) and combo lines with Dualcaster Mage/Twinflame. Imodane is mission-critical, as her removal cripples the deck's core damage-scaling engine.
Tifa LockheartThis mono-green deck revolves around landfall triggers and commander-centric combat, leveraging Tifa Lockhart's ability to double her power with each land drop. The core strategy involves explosive land ramp (multiple land plays per turn, land-sacrifice effects, and fetches) to rapidly scale Tifa's power while generating value through token armies, +1/+1 counters, and card advantage. Tifa serves as the primary voltron threat, supported by equipment that scales with land count (Blackblade Reforged, Staff of Titania) and secondary win conditions like Craterhoof Behemoth or Scute Swarm token swarms. The deck heavily relies on Tifa's presence and landfall triggers, making it vulnerable to commander removal and land disruption.
Enchanting WildsThis Selesnya enchantress deck helmed by Ellivere of the Wild Court focuses on stacking aura-based buffs and enchantment synergies to create overwhelming board states. The strategy leverages Ellivere's Virtuous Role tokens to amplify creature threats while enabling card draw through combat damage. Secondary win conditions include a Selvala, Heart of the Wilds/Staff of Domination infinite mana combo and explosive finishers like Craterhoof Behemoth. The deck balances voltron elements with wide enchantress value engines, using tutors and recursion to maintain momentum.
Long Live the QueenThis Orzhov enchantment deck helmed by Eriette of the Charmed Apple employs a hybrid strategy of stax control and incremental life drain. The deck focuses on enchanting opponents' creatures to neutralize threats while leveraging Eriette's passive life loss/gain engine. Secondary win conditions include aura-based voltron strategies with Light-Paws, Emperor's Voice, infinite life-drain combos with Exquisite Blood/Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, and stax locks via cards like Drannith Magistrate + Curse of Exhaustion. Eriette serves as both an enabler (making enchanted creatures unable to attack you) and a win condition through her end-step life swing.
Quick DrawThis Izzet spellslinger deck helmed by Stella Lee, Wild Card focuses on casting multiple instants/sorceries per turn to generate value through spell copying, token creation, and direct damage. The commander enables card advantage through its second-spell trigger and provides a repeatable copy engine when casting 3+ spells. Key themes include spell recursion (Finale of Promise, Mystic Sanctuary), storm payoffs (Thousand-Year Storm, Storm-Kiln Artist), and synergistic creatures that amplify spellcasting (Veyran, Voice of Duality, Guttersnipe). The deck can win through overwhelming token armies, storm-based damage, or infinite combos like Freed from the Real + Gelectrode.
HyldaThis Azorius deck helmed by Hylda of the Icy Crown combines tap-down control, stax elements, and incremental value generation. The strategy revolves around repeatedly tapping opponents' creatures to trigger Hylda's abilities, generating 4/4 tokens, +1/+1 counters, or card advantage. The deck employs potent stax pieces like Winter Orb, Static Orb, and Tangle Wire to slow opponents while building a board state. Hylda is critical as the engine, enabling value from tap effects, though the deck includes alternative win paths through stax locks and Dismiss into Dream synergies.
Squirelling AroundThis Golgari Squirrel/Food token deck helmed by Camellia, the Seedmiser combines aristocrat strategies with tribal synergy. The deck focuses on generating Food tokens through cards like Academy Manufactor, Peregrin Took, and Experimental Confectioner, then converting them into Squirrel tokens via Camellia's ability. Key win conditions include token swarms amplified by Craterhoof Behemoth, Chatterfang, Squirrel General, and Doubling Season, as well as aristocrat drains via Mirkwood Bats and Bastion of Remembrance. The commander serves as both a token generator and tribal lord, with redundancy provided by Hazel of the Rootbloom and The Odd Acorn Gang for explosive plays.
Karlach's SoldiersThis Boros deck leverages Karlach, Fury of Avernus and Veteran Soldier to create an aggressive token swarm strategy focused on multiple combat phases. The core plan floods the board with Soldier tokens via Veteran Soldier's attack trigger (amplified by token doublers), then uses Karlach's extra combat steps to overwhelm opponents with multiplied combat damage, boosted attackers, and "on attack/entry" triggers. Key themes include token multiplication, combat phase duplication, and damage amplification.
Peace OfferingThis Bant (G/W/U) deck helmed by Ms. Bumbleflower focuses on synergistic card draw, +1/+1 counters, and alternate win conditions. The commander enables a "group hug" engine that rewards spell-slinging with flying threats and card advantage, while leveraging cards like Consecrated Sphinx, Triskaidekaphile, and Helix Pinnacle to close games. Secondary strategies include infinite mana combos (e.g., Deadeye Navigator + Peregrine Drake) and poison via Bloodroot Apothecary. Ms. Bumbleflower acts as a value engine, but the deck can function without her, relying on hidden commanders like Psychosis Crawler and Kalonian Hydra.
Beguiling BeautyThis Eriette, the Beguiler deck focuses on enchantment-based control, leveraging Auras to steal opponents' creatures and build a resilient board. It combines stax elements, voltron strategies, and resource denial while maintaining high card quality and tutor density. The deck aims to win through stolen threats, commander damage via Aura buffs, or incremental life drain from Eriette's triggered ability.
Kaalia's Vast DragonsThis Kaalia of the Vast deck focuses on cheating out high-impact Angels, Demons, and Dragons to overwhelm opponents through combat. Kaalia is the linchpin, enabling free deployment of threats like Aurelia, the Warleader, Hellkite Tyrant, and Terror of the Peaks as early as turn 3-4 with proper ramp. The deck combines aggressive combat loops, board control via mass removal (e.g., Ruinous Ultimatum), and combo potential with Helm of the Host + Aurelia, the Warleader for infinite combat phases. While Kaalia is critical to the strategy, the deck includes reanimation (Reanimate, Liesa, Forgotten Archangel) and alternative threats to mitigate commander dependency.
Eivor's SagaThis Naya (RGW) deck helmed by Eivor, Wolf-Kissed centers on Saga synergy and legendary/enchantment value, leveraging Eivor's ability to cheat Sagas and lands into play via combat damage triggers. The deck combines incremental value from Sagas (e.g., token generation, removal, recursion) with explosive plays enabled by legendary creatures like Wildsear, Scouring Maw (enchantment cascade) and Havi, the All-Father (legendary recursion). Secondary themes include land acceleration (Exploration, Ramunap Excavator) and enchantment/legendary tribal synergies. Eivor acts as both a value engine and a combat threat, with backup win conditions like Dark Depths/Thespian's Stage and Mayael's Aria.
Light of ValinorThis Bant (GWU) Elf tribal deck leverages Galadriel, Light of Valinor to generate explosive mana, distribute +1/+1 counters, and fuel card advantage through scry/draw triggers. The primary strategy revolves around swarming the board with Elves, utilizing their innate synergies for mana acceleration and creature buffs. Secondary combo lines exploit infinite ETB loops with Cloudstone Curio/Intruder Alarm and mana-dense Elves like Priest of Titania or Marwyn, the Nurturer. Galadriel acts as both an engine and payoff, enabling rapid scaling of resources and board presence.
The Great Heathen ArmyThis Saskia the Unyielding deck is a hyper-aggressive combat-focused build leveraging token armies, damage multipliers, and extra combat phases to eliminate multiple opponents simultaneously. Saskia amplifies all combat damage dealt by your creatures to a pre-selected player, effectively doubling your offensive output. The deck combines Human tribal synergies (via Kyler, Sigardian Emissary, Sigarda, Champion of Light) with Warrior token generation (Bone-Cairn Butcher, Zurgo Stormrender) and explosive combat enablers like Aurelia, the Warleader and Aggravated Assault. Key damage amplifiers like Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, Gratuitous Violence, and City on Fire create multiplicative damage potential, while Triumph of the Hordes provides an infect-based alternate win condition.
