On the island Isla Nublar...
Blue was a very clever girl. She knew she could only trust one human; Owen. He was there at her birth and he was there for much of her life. She trusted him and would protect him.
She went to great lengths to ensure her pack followed her as well, and through her; Owen. But she was by no means tame, and would never be so. Her very DNA ensured she retained plenty of animal instinct and aggression. It was something that was displayed when she mistakenly decided to follow a new alpha; the Indominous Rex.
Luckily that did not last very long and she resumed following Owen shortly afterward. But it was not without consequences. Charlie, Delta, and Echo, the other three velociraptors, were killed.
It had been a long time since she had seen Owen. A very long time. But she hadn't forgotten him. It was nice not following anyone else though, and she reveled in the freedom she had on the island now that there were no humans to worry about.
But it was lonely, too. She spent her time hunting, roaming the island, and finding a place to sleep that she might not be ambushed by a larger predator. It was against her nature to be alone, raptors were pack animals. She sort of missed her family, but didn't let it bother her. She was strong after all, and clever enough to get by on her own.
With no human intervention, she was thriving. She may as well have been queen of the island, aside from the ol' T-Rex of course. However, as long as they stayed apart from one another, they had no issues sharing the island.
Blue was free.

Side note: Yes, I am quite aware that the velociraptors used in the Jurassic Park franchise were not what actual velociraptors looked like/size and whatnot. But there is a dinosaur that matches the body type and size, the name of that dinosaur just wasn't cool enough for the producers, so they used 'velociraptor'.
For the purposes of this page I'm ignoring this fact, as the franchise does.
