Essentially I can manipulate anything at will. Hair, paper, people. Name it. I can change it as I want, however, I am not in full control of this. My powers are potentially strong enough to do anything I want, but I don't want that. I just want to be strong enough not to black out when I use my abilities too often.

Confectioner was born with his abilities, though vastly weak and hardly ever noticeable. When he was a child he had no control over his powers; his eyes or hair would change at random depending on how excited, in any emotional form, he would get. His parents were wealthy and well known, and they didn't want people to know that their child had any anomalies. So they hid him. Well, not completely! They allowed me to do normal things, I just... Didn't meet many people.

Due to always wanting to keep him happier, and his parents being rich, Confectioner was a spoiled child. He got anything he wanted and threatened to throw a tantrum when it wasn't an instant yes. Gosh I was a spoiled little di-- child. This came as a major hindrance for everybody and finally his parents gave him a firm "No." He lost it, to say the least. His hair and eyes turned black, his skin changed to deep red, purple, gray, then back again, things around him flew around, blew up, beasts came out of the books they were in, spiders grew to immense sizes, and then time completely stopped. Confectioner slipped into a three month long comma after this incident, his parents learned he needed to learn some control and they needed to stop restricting his growth. And thankfully when I woke up I had already learned my lesson.

In order to gain more control of his powers he began to manipulate items, changing the objects color or size, changing their structure. This has all taken years, and I am still working on it. Right now I am working on changing even air in to a solidified object, or even creature, and also taking objects apart, down to their tiniest particle, and putting it all back together.

That aside, he learned that he was naturally skilled in had-to-hand combat and trained in multiple techniques. I get bored, ahahaha! His abilities helped here, which helped them grow, by concentrating on increasing his speed and strength, or even changing his own structure for a small period of time. Still getting the hang of this; oh, and teleporting hurts like Hell. I don't know how Patissier does it so often.

When he was seventeen he met Patissier, who introduced him to the life of crime fighting. On his first night out they got in to a fight with a drug lord, and just as Patissier was smoking the guy, his back up shot Confectioner in the back of his head. I thought I was done for, just when I had found Pat... But thankfully his newest ability stopped this. He turned around, punched the guy in the chest and sent a shock in to his heart that stopped him dead. As blood trickled down his neck he shivered and realized his scalp was healing itself.

He then trained with Patissier in fighting, honing in on his own abilities, and in confections. It was only destiny, with our names, ahahaha! So when the shop, Gothique, was opened he signed up instantly to work with him and Baguette.
