There is nothing spectacular about this pet. This is not a pet who will be happily remembered. In fact, this pet has been the reason for many lives lost. This pet is a destroyer, a plaque, a pandemic. This pet forced many into quarantine. This pet will forever be a nuisance.

However, this pet will forever be a part of history.. and like it or not, this pet's name will forever be remembered. So, let's remember this pet as the reason why we wash our hands regularly and why we stay 6 feet away. Let's remember this pet for the way we were brought closer to our family and friends by realizing how hard it was to stay away for so long. Let's remember this pet as an obstacle we've overcome, and how strong we are because of it. Let's remember this pet as a symbol of honor to those we lost to this horrible plaque.

My mother, Louise Angela, passed away in February 2021. She had just been diagnosed with covid. Her cause of death was renal failure, but covid was the demon that intensified her condition. I will forever keep her in my heart, and keep her name alive through this pet.-Dawn
