Raining
Legacy Name: Ethereal

These words were followed by heavy breathing, as the griffin struggled to support her own weight. Her white fur was stained with her own blood; evidence that she had been fighting. Scattered along the building's rooftop was a mess of Raining's feathers and fur, as well as deep blue feathers that did not belong to her. All of these things appeared to have an orange tint to them, due to the setting sun being the only source of light.

"Don't be stupid, little girl." A belittling voice spoke. "I didn't come here to make friends, I'm making sure you stay out of my way once and for all." That same voice was also raspy from exhaustion, and it gradually sounded closer as the other griffin took a couple of steps towards Raining. Raining tried to back away from the other griffin, but her back legs gave way, forcing her into a sitting position. A brief cry of pain escaped her beak before she forced her attention back on her opponent. Some time between her collapsing and her regaining her senses, the other griffin had pulled out a golden gun.

Raining couldn't believe what was happening. Was this griffin truly as evil as her mother had warned her? Was she really going to die here? "Eisen, please! Why are you doing this!?" She tried to plead. Raining couldn't find the strength to stand as Eisen only made her way closer to her. Raining couldn't figure out if she was too exhausted to move, or if fear was keeping her immobilized. Eisen had indeed been stronger than she had expected, and the white-furred griffin was now paying dearly for under-estimating her. She had to think of something to do, and fast, since she now saw that the barrel of the gun was pointed right at her chest.

It only takes one bullet to kill

She could have sworn she saw a different look in Eisen's eyes. It was only for a brief second, but it had certainly been there. Some part of her wanted to be helped. Maybe, just maybe she could save Eisen from the demon that plagued her body. A smile found its way onto Raining's beak, and she weakly held out one of her paws towards the dark furred griffin. "Everything will be okay, I pro--"

The bang of a gun sounded, and everything became silent. The only other sound that followed was the soft thud of Raining's body collapsing onto the ground.
