Heartbroken too many times, Rosie decided to only put her love into one thing: art.

Whenever she felt down, she pulled out her supplies and just drew whatever came to mind. No matter what Rosie drew, you could tell she poured all her love into it. Many people absolutely adored her art, but she always never understood why.

"It's not that good," she always said. "It's still missing something..." She tried everything, from different styles to even an occasional change of scenery. Nothing seemed to add that spark that was desperately missing.

Disappointed, Rosie got up from her desk and began walking out the door. When she stepped out, she noticed something lying on the ground. Rosie ran over to it, and noticed it was a pencil. She kneeled down to pick it up, but flinched when it seemed to emit a strange aura that made her head spin.

Intrigued, she took a deep breath and tried to grab it again, resisting the spinning as much as she could. She felt it, but it stopped as soon as it had started.

Suddenly, she felt the urge to draw something. Rosie pulled out her sketchbook and quickly doodled a small kitten. There was a small flash of light, and then there was a cat that looked exactly like the one she had drawn. She picked it up and tightly embraced it.

That was what was missing this whole time.
