Profile

Halden lives life in extremes; he hates to do anything without putting his entire self into it. An enormous orc born with the additional abilities of regeneration and pyrokinesis, he strives to push himself as hard as he can, to reach his limits and break them.

His fascination with pushing his body has resulted in extreme pain tolerance, and he has even come to enjoy the sensation of physical pain. He has little regard for his own safety; there have been times when his masochism led to life-threatening injuries, but still he wants to experience more.

Hal prides himself not only on his less common abilities but his physical prowess as well. A fitness freak to the highest degree, he works out religiously, constantly trying to better his body. With his abnormal physiology and sheer determination, his strength has steadily increased from above average to staggering -- and that, of course, isn't enough for Hal.

Halden is a tactile, physically-oriented person, with lacking people skills; he has only a vague understanding of how people work and is emotionally stunted, though not incapable of showing affection to those that he cares about. He has been in a relationship with Nicandros, a man turned ghoul, for several years. Their relationship is strange and disturbing, with Halden willing to mutilate his body to provide Nick with the human meat he craves, but the two of them make it work.
