She's fluffy, grey, and adorable - but try to pet her, and you'll soon realize your mistake.
Focused on intimidation from a young age, Narny frequently tried to hiss before she truly got the hang of it. You would be walking down the hallway when suddenly you'd hear PAH! PAH! PAH! from somewhere in the vicinity of your ankles - that's when you knew you were in trouble. A fuzzy torpedo would launch itself out of some shadow, and the fight for your extremities was on!
As she grew older, she eventually learned how to hiss. No more "PAH!" from the shadows. You still had to be on guard for the zooming fluffball of claws and teeth, though! Narnia is one of those cats whose tolerance has to be earned.
Now that we've moved out of the city, she's mellowed out a lot. She's still wary of strangers, but she doesn't try to attack them at the door anymore. She prefers to hiss and growl from a distance, now.
Her hobbies include chasing treats down the hallway, going outside for walks on her harness, and finding ways to get inside every single box that comes inside the house.
She isn't a friendly cat, but she is my cat, and I wouldn't trade her for the world.
