At the age of 18 he started his training as a space pilot at the Military, what looked as a promising career. Talented and his outstanding understanding of flying and space ships helped him to win the attention of his supervisors but his temper and the envy of some of the other pilots in training put an fast end to his starting career.

Navarre was suspended because he lost control after an insult, beating up the one who provoked him, Miles McCullen. McCullen nearly died cause of the injuries, cause Navarre has strong biotic skills, which he normally is able to hide but when he is extremely angered, he easily can lose control. McCullen did know that and his plan was to provoke Navarre until he loses control. Without any backup from others McCullen had an easy game to shift all guilt onto Navarre, asserting that Navarre did beat him up simply because the young man did not like him.

Navarre had to go and was not allowed to continue serving as a space pilot anymore.

Seth, the actual leader of a small special task group found the totally frustrated Navarre drinking in a bar and after hearing him out decided to give him a chance as member of his small group, seeing the big potential and advantage he could bring. Seth also has a soft spot for outsiders. Navarre starts to like the small group and even likes what he is doing but still misses flying a fighter in space.
Seth is kown for being incorruptible and trustful and chooses the people for his group very carefully. He also is very loyal and takes care of his small family (His team). However, this often causes a lot of trouble, especially with his corrupt Commander who sees Seth and his team as a problem that must be purged.

The Commander decides to trick Seth, Navarre and the others into an emergency mission which is actually a trap were he planned the whole team to die. Navarre, Seth and two other members of the team barely survive (Seth is blinden on one eye) and need to go into hiding for about two years. One of the remaining members (Ryan) is tracked down at that time and killed.

Seth whereabouts are unknown and Navarre decides to go to Tatarus, as space station in the outer rings of Saturn were only Mercenaries and criminals tend to live. He starts drinking again until 2 years later is found by the Commander of the Demeter, who wants him as pilot for one of his escorte ships (Solaris at first which will be destroyed and rebuild with the KI Hephaestos and named "Eclipse").

Navarre is a Space pilot and a former special force member of the VST (Vereinigte Sternenfoederation Terra). He later on will be the pilot of the "Eclipse" (Frigate class space ship, Stealth Reconnaissance ). The Eclipse is one of the smaller ships, with a lenght of about 215 meters and a crew of 42 people.

Self confident , arrogant, often impish, blatherskite, tends to drink to much alcohol and takes sometimes drugs like Exctasy and Speed, likes Sex but avoids relations and closer bonds, easy to anger and vengeful, hot-tempered, Hothead.If someone is able to win his faith (which is not easy) he is a very loyal an trustful friend.
