History
This all happened a long time ago, in distant lands known as the magical Realm of Dragons. A prophecy was made one fateful evening, proclaiming that one day, a divine creature shall hatch from a dragon's egg and bring forth many changes upon their society.

In this same land, long ago but not AS long ago, hatched a tiny silver dragon, named after the shining magical crystal, Orihalcon. There was something indeed quite strange about him, which became more prominent as he grew. The blessing he received- a piece of star floating at the tip of his tail, to forever guide his way in the darkness- was indeed quite strange, but fairies have a tendency to give strange gifts to newborns, so this passed largely unnoticed. What was most curious were his wings- no scaly dragon wings were on his back. One was leathery and black, like that of a demon's. The other was feathery and white, that of an angel. When the Elder dragons caught wind of this, immediately they exiled young, curious Orihalcon to the human realm. They remembered the prophecy quite clearly, and they dared not risk knowing if the "many changes that the Divine one shall bring forth" shall be positive or negative.

Thus the prophecy wasn't fully accomplished, and that was the end of that.

Orial, in the meanwhile, lived many exciting things. He arrived in the medieval era, and had settled in a cave near a peaceful village. He had a few unsettling encounters with knights and other manners of disturbances. It mainly concerned the false rumour that there was actual orihalcon in the cave, so many flocked over in the hopes of investing in the crystals. Eventually, when a sword was left behind by a cowardly knight, he couldn't resist taking on a human disguise and practicing with it. Eventually he traveled out, deciding to collect as many books and scrolls as he could. He loved knowledge, craved it so- and many, many years later, he settled in England. Orial scattered his vast collection of literature across the world, safely hidden in places he alone could go to.

Mental information
As one would expect from a guy who reads all day long, Orihalcon is incredibly smart. Having spent hundreds of years doing nothing but reading, one could expect that he was a mastermind of sorts. His intellect spans over technology, chemistry, physics, biology, medicine, and world history. The drawback is that he's completely shut out from the world. After spending so much time in sheer solitude, he lost his ability to hide his mismatched wings and dragon tail- it encouraged his desire to have as little contact as possible with human beings. Consequently he has very little social skills and a virtually nonexistent sense of humor. He masks his emotions very well, showing only flashes of annoyance or displeasure. He hasn't smiled in years-- but luckily he has devoted his life to learning, and finds no use in being rude or hateful towards others.

Physical information
In human appearance, Orial stands at little over 6 feet, and seems to be in his late twenties. He has hazel eyes, light skin that rarely receives sunlight, and VERY straight, shoulder-length dark red hair with teal bangs framing his face. His weight and physique are normal, despite the fact that he eats very little (his body having adapted to consuming less over longer periods of time). The fact that his human form is only a disguise may also contribute to that.

He's an European dragon, roughly the size of a one-story house. His silver scales are smooth and shiny. Two ram-like black horns curve around his head. His neck is elongated, and his body is relatively slim. And yes, he can breathe fire.
