Hello. My name is Klavier, but you can call me Pipe if you want. A lot of people call me Pipe; they say it's much easier to remember.

I was created by a man named Domino. He says he's a necromancer, but I really don't think he is. He only ever resurrected one person anyway, and I think a real necromancer would be able to resurrect people on a regular basis. I think 'animator' is a better name for him, because he animates lots of stuff.

For years he lived alone in his microcosm, not knowing from whence he or it came. He did know, however, that he could make things out of nothing. He was essentially a god. First he built himself an impossible mansion with crooked stairwells that led to nowhere and furniture that could move on its own. Next, he resurrected Halie, his little harlot he met on his only trip to another realm called 'Earth', in the form of a ghostly jester. And then, of course, he made me.

Domino always liked music, especially pipe organ music. He wanted the ability to hear the melodic, resonant moans of the organ at a whim, but try as he might, he could not teach himself to play. Eventually, he gave up and just animated a pipe organ, figuring that if anyone could play a pipe organ, it would be another pipe organ. That is, of course, when I came into the picture.

Domino is really nice to me and he enjoys my music, but to tell you the truth...I'm afraid of him.

He says he's going to animate himself a daughter soon. What if she's a pipe organ too? What if she's a better one than I am?

If she is, I'm afraid that he'll replace me. After all, I'm just a machine.

If his new daughter is better than me, I think I might have to kill her.

I don't want to be replaced.
