Life's One Heck Of A Wild Ride

"She was always such a good kid..."

Pontiac was once the proud father of a little girl named Kinzie. As an established business man of the Coalfell area, he had quite a bit of pocket change to give to his darling daughter whenever she wanted a treat or three. The car business was always booming after all! His wife wasn't all too pleased with this constant spoiling but as long as Kinzie behaved well she didn't cause a fuss. Pontiac couldn't care less what the wife thought, that was his little girl and he was going to treat her like a princess! The family lived peacefully in the very least despite the fair amount of arguments that took place only after little Kinzie slept.
When not spending time with Kinzie, Pontiac could usually be found at his little mechanic shop where he would work on vehicles of all manner. It is how he came up with his own "perfect" ride. Something that could both tote a loving family around AND participate in some fun little street races! While he did prefer to work on his own design he was just happy to help others with their issues. He always tried to educate customers on the ins and outs of their vehicles even if they weren't too interested in hearing about it. He knew those types would keep him in business at least haha!
When the tragedy of Coalfell struck and Pontiac lost his business to the Great Fire that engulfed the town, he poured his heart and soul into his wife's bakery and sweetshop. He was clumsy in the kitchen and fumbled more often than not but his help was more than enough to assist through the harsh times that would befall them. Pontiac found himself fallen mysteriously ill and barely had time to say goodbye before he felt his soul being torn at the very core. He would fear for his life had his life not been taken from him after all. This was it. His soul had been condemned and his fate would lay in the underworld...
When he awoke again he found himself being shot forth from a vicious churning of clouds. He struggled to keep himself upright as he attempted to observe his surroundings. Clouds, clouds and well, more clouds. They were angry but also calm. Peaceful in a sense. His body flipped upright as he was pushed through the top of the vortex and had gently glided down to a little ledge that led to a rather ornate building. He was confused and had thought his soul being ripped meant a terrible place lay in wait for him but this place seemed so serene. Upon entry he found a rather old looking goat who barely glanced up from writing in some sort of book before greeting him and in the process answering very few of the thousands of questions he had.

"Salutations newborn! You're in the wonderful realm of Solaris. To your left you will find any info you'd like about the place. To your right you'll enter our lovely little cloudy home. Follow the road up the mountain to find our one and only Salvador Dali. He's got all the time in the world to answer any question you cannot find the answer to in a book."

Thus, Pontiac's new life started. He only hopes that his little girl is happy and healthy, wherever the world takes her.

Kinzie

"My loving little angel. Such a good girl. Always got good grades and for the most part is respectful to her elders. Her mother would try to punish her when she talked back but I was always able to calm the situation down as Kinzie never spoke back to me in such a vicious manner. I was always called into the office at school because some little girl had a problem with my Kinzie, or at least, she seemed to think my little angel had problems with her! Nonsense! I was able to raise doubts on accusations and get my child's name cleared. She's a good kid. My only regret is passing on so early... I wish to see all that my little girl has accomplished these days and tell her how proud I am of her."

White Queen

"A kind woman whom I got to meet shortly after I found Salvador. She seems to be some kind of healer for this place. Or at least she used to be a medic? I cannot rightly recall. She and Mr. Dali both seem very uninterested in my car business of the past! Probably has a lot to do with the accident he had gotten into, bless his heart. I sometimes assist with her daily tasks as I attempt to figure out my own calling."

Salvador Dali

"Another gentleman I stumbled upon in this place. He said it's called "Solaris" and it's home to creatures called "Guardians". Never heard of such a thing! But Mr. Dali was kind and explained some of the aspects of this realm to me. One being that I am now a Guardian and I have a task to do but I will not know what task that is until my soul feels it. He said I could stay until I was called upon and thus we have a cup of tea at noon everyday and speak of the other Guardians that filter through my new home. Though in all honesty I'd personally prefer coffee with a bit of cake!"
