Za's Subetan Pizza Delivery Guide:

Welcome to Za's Place, the finest pizzeria this side of Shengui Guo. You may have heard the same claim from a certain green-haired imposter who only shows his face once a year but let me assure you that no one can beat our taste or price. We have seventeen different crust options, we use only the freshest ingredients and our sauce is based on Mama Itali's super-secret seven-herb special sauce.

(Any rumors you may have heard about a signed copy of "For the Elwood Following" residing in a glass case in my office are 100% false. Seriously. Why are you looking at me like that? Does this look like a face that would lie?)

I've been all over Subeta and I've seen all kinds. When you're in buisiness for yourself, you learn quickly that what's a hot seller in Arctic Frost may be a total dud over at Veta Lake. You got to learn your market and plan the location of your shops strategically. That's how you sell hot wings in mid-July and frozen pizzas out of Icy Goods. That's how you find success and keep yourself in the green when you're surrounded by Bovyne Burgers and Telenine Tacos.

Arctic Frost

Living in an everlasting winter wonderland must have an affect on the taste buds because these folks really love their pizza hot and spicy. They'll ask for anything from a taco pizza with triple jalapeno peppers to BBQ buffalo chicken wings paired with five alarm dipping sauce. Our candy cane cinnamon twists are popular even outside the season of Luminaire. These folks have warm personalities to match their preference for hot tastes. They're always giving little presents and tipping well above and beyond what your standard driver makes in a day. I wish all of Subeta kept the Luminaire spirit alive year-round the way tundra dwellers do.

Carnival

It will come as no surprise that Carnival workers have a sweet tooth that could make Louis L'amour gag. I've come up with a full half-dozen new dessert pizza recipes from their suggestions, adding to your standard chocolate, cinnamon, apple, peach, cherry and blueberry. (With my house special triple berry and strawberry cream cheese always receving rave reviews, I might add.) If you have picky eaters like my kids, give the gummy worm garden a try. It has a chocolate cookie crumble crust with fudge sauce and gummy worms crawling over a bed of spearmint leaf "grass". Or you might prefer the more refined taste of my turtle cheesecake dessert pie. We always sell out in a hurry around Survival with all those hopeless romantics trying to woo their sweethearts with a tasty gift that's just as sweet.

Centropolis

As the central hub of Subetan social life, Centropolis is by far the best city for setting trends that barely last a month. It may be annoying coming up with a way to combine artichokes with thinly sliced liver and peanut butter but these folks have a tipping generosity to match their unusual tastes. Saggitarius has even contracted with us for a unique line of pizzas called the Golden Dragon which are released on a temporary basis once a year to celebrate the slaying of his first foe. (Or victim, if you're a member of Prevention of Cruelty to Dragons.) This custom pizza isn't for the faint of heart (or the thin of pocket book.) It combines anchovy, caviar and saffron with just a hint of edible gold dust. We also sell a lot of plain pepperoni here. Your classic sports fans want a simple pie to munch when they're yelling at their big screens on game day. Also popular among students of good old Subeta U are our custom-order pizza bites with twelve choices of dipping sauce.

Darkside

When Maleria gets a craving for pizza, we mere mortals spring into action...NOW! (She's partial to plain cheese. It must be all that dark magical energy that gives her the appetite to devour three whole pies in a sitting.) This is the location where we sell the most personal pan pizzas which make a great snack for those impatient Subetans awaiting their turn for a zap or to visit the wonders of Blobland. Speaking of blobs, they can't get enough of our cheesy garlic bread with complimentary marinara and butter garlic sauce. How does a blob eat without hands? A question for Euclid, I guess. I'm not here to solve the mysteries of Subetan anatomy. I just sell pizzas.

Galaxan Wastes

Any business worth its salt will do its part for charity. Every month, we donate a full dozen pizzas for the unfortunate minions trapped in the bubbles of the Wastelands. It's a great way to use up holiday ingredients and to give our furry, feathered or finned friends a taste of something other than the occasional treat left by some kind passerby. (No I don't know what will happen if you throw one of my pies in that freaky rift but this much I know. You won't be seeing this fine tail risking the voids of space anytime soon.)

Omen Islands

Natives of the islands never get tired of trying new combinations of seafood on their pizza. Everything from calimari rings to a special seaweed sauce have been tried and approved and our Hawaiian Pizza is a best seller. (What is Hawaii? No idea. My friend Pure keeps muttering something about a place that she can never afford so maybe it's some super-secret relative of the Millionaire Center.) Islands tend to request combinations of sausage, ham or pepperoni and their favorite tropical fruits while our pirate customers want all meat, all the time. Our Cinnamon Manchu Bread is sure to sell out whenever we put it on the menu.

Peka Park

It was during Peka-Boo that the Cheeseburger and BLT pizzas really became hits. They remain on most of our menus throughout Subeta and are always a good fallback for those who just can't decide what they're in the mood to eat. Though there are few permanent residents living in the park, we do get the occasional order of boneless wings from the local popoko family that numbers in the hundreds and that claimed the forest surrounding Peka as their territory hundreds of years ago when they came down from Atebus.

Pina Park

Ikumoradeekanox fruits are the ingredient of choice and there seems to be no end to the flavor combinations one can invent with these colorful and flavorful space delights. Also popular are our line of braided breads that come with nuts, poppy seeds or cinnamon topping.

Riverside

Pete keeps us thriving by ordering one of everything on the menu at least once a week...two of everything if he's particularly hungry! The Major likes a pie with plenty of protien. (He won't hesitate to make you drop and give him twenty if his pizza arrives cold.) Those training for battle may brag to their friends that they won't be tempted by a slice but our sales show that pumping iron leaves one plenty of room for putting away a piece or six. We also have a great relationship with the Recycle Beast who always keeps an eye out for fuel crystals we can use in our ovens in exchange for a mushroom, green pepper and onion deep-dish pie. (We arrange the peppers in the shape of his smiling face as a compliment to our favorite resident junk sifter.)

Sacred Lands

A pizza with a white sauce base will always be a hit in the land of Shinwa and the Oracle. Whether it's chicken alfredo, artichoke and spinach or just plain white cheddar bacon, you'll find there are few tomato sauce based options on the menu. Tastes in the Market couldn't be more different. With a wide variety of rare spices readily available, those who frequent the market prefer a rich, hearty combination of flavors that pair meats, cheeses and vegetables. Their exact preferences are as shifting as the desert sands but they keep our cooks from ever getting bored!

Shadowglen

It'll come as no surprise that residents of Shadowglen prefer pizza toppings that would make most Subetan citizens gag. We're talking ingredients that Quick Bites discarded. Body parts are the toppings of choice and a nice bloody marinara or eye jelly alfredo pairs well with pizza crust made with authentic crypt dust mixed in with the flour to give the crust a little extra texture.

Shengui Guo

Vegetarian options are the trend throughout this land of mist and moonlight. You have your run-of-the-mill thin crust base with a good showing of bright colors but aside from your standard peppers and olives, there is also quite a calling for different edible flowers. I've been able to expand my salad line with the help of many suggestions from Jogo who often takes a dainty bite of assorted greens while putting the finishing touches on an ornate dress kimono.

Veta Lake

Those who go to Veta to relax are always up for some nice comfort food. Our macaroni and cheese pizza is a best-seller with a side of plain old-fashioned breadsticks. Also trending is our new line of cheese-stuffed crust pizzas in seven different flavor combinations.

Ziara

Those who want to dance all night can't be bothered to pause long enough to sit down at the table. All of our classics from pizza to wings to various breads have been shrunk to hand-sized bites so they can be enjoyed between trips to the floor. In the city of Ziara itself, our customers have begged for new combinations of cheese, ranging from your boring cheddar and mozzarella mix to a seven-cheese tongue twister that combines sweet, savory, salty and spicy...all without the aid of any other topping but cheese. Atebus may not be made of cheese but it sure does appreciate a good gob of goo!
