a demon king who's super powerful and people think he's really, really evil because his armies go out and take over and pillage the holy lands.
alexandria slays his demon generals and manages to defeat him.. but before she can strike the killing blow, a super powerful sorcerer of hers double crosses her and strips both the demon king/hero of their powers, and sends them super far away to a weird foreign hostile barren land. and they both hate each other but they're in a strange land with like.. almost none of their powers.. and they have to journey back to the kingdom's lands because the sorcerer is evil and fucking major shit up and gonna destroy everything. on the journey they save each other a lot.
one of his generals killed her parents and slaughtered her entire village, so she hates him for that... but they need each other to survive. and every time she needs him on the journey, he's always there, and she hates him for that, too.
