He went in and over, and over and through. With his sugar rush high, he flew, flew, flew! He did tricks in the air with Boop by his side. As he flew without a care, he swelled up with pride. “I can do it!” he said, as he looked at his friends. Their eyes grew wide as they glanced at the bends. It was a tricky course up in the air and, to do it right, it had to be done with flair.

Gileon started going faster and faster. To all his friends down below, he was a wingmaster. Doing loopies and zigzags, it felt like a dream. Almost, almost better than strawberry ice cream. But as his sugar rush turned into a sugar crash, he tumbled down quick as a flash. His friends all rushed over as he tried to hide tears. His pride was hurt at having fallen in front of peers. They helped him get up and said some comforting words. They all reassured him that he was still the best of birds.

Then, they all went for sweets (okay, maybe ten) and Gileon realized something right there and then. His friends were amazing and such fun to be around. Whenever he was with them, it was impossible to frown. They had dance parties and candy runs and all goofed together. All in all, they were birds of a feather.

The next day the group went back out to play. These sweet, smiley friends then had another great day.
