had his identity stolen. in that time, his thieves racked up so much debt for him it was basically impossible for him to survive. he had to sell his house to the bank. he lost all of his savings and belongings. for a while, he was extremely depressed about the situation. ... then, he realized this was nothing more than a fresh start for him. so he grabbed his car and dog and quit his job, left his failing relationship, said goodbye to his parents, and took off to the road. He's been all over the country, staying from place to place. He makes his money by working side jobs, but is clearly content with his life. He's even become a bit of an online celebrity, with his selfies becoming constant hits.

PERSONALITY — nolan is the embodiment of c'est la vie. he was once an incredibly uptight business man who spent his time in a cubicle working nine to five. due to unfortunate circumstances, he lost absolutely everything. he took this as his chance to kickstart his life again, doing whatever the fuck he wanted. he bought a van, learned to play acoustic guitar, went around the world with a few dollars in his pocket. he's quite the charmer, which is how he's able to survive so long. he's kind to people, and they give him handouts in return. one big flirt. maybe he's gone a little too overboard with that devil may care attitude- he's left behind a string of broken hearts, never seems to care much about his wellbeing, and can be extremely impulsive with his decisions. would much prefer having a good time for a day and moving on than having any actual relationship.
