I saw the arrow first, embedded in the wall behind a disused warehouse. First I didn't think much of it, but after a while the unusual look of that arrow seemed to get stuck in my mind. There was something different about it, something unusual... other than seeing an arrow embedded in the wall in the first place of course.

A few days later, I was walking down the main street and turned off into a side alley behind the shops. I can't quite say what it was, but something felt off, like I was being watched. But I couldn't see anyone there - I even checked behind those massive bins, and nobody was in sight.

Rumour has it that the arrows belong to someone who calls himself the Green Arrow - I'd heard about him as a kid, but I thought it was all a myth designed to scare young children and keep them on the straight and narrow. You know, a bit like the bogeyman.
